Membership of the Canadian Kefir Association is available to any Canadian producer of Kefir which ingredient list on the label meets all of the criteria of authentic Kefir and has the processing facility that is in compliance with all applicable Canadian regulatory requirements and in compliance with HACCP (Hazard analysis and critical control points), as well as the GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
Every member of the Canadian Kefir Association can use the logo of the association on their own labels of authentic Kefir.
